So where’s Justin headed? What’s it all mean? What can we tell about Justin Bieber from his face?
Take a long deep breath or two and take a look. What do you see?
I see a face displaying a number of personality traits that could either move him into a more responsible life or propel him deeper into problem situations.
What do you notice first?
The first thing I notice is his long, thin neck. These belong to people who are especially open to the influence of others. Here it indicates Justin Bieber is not one to stand up for himself and know and go after what he wants, at least not yet. (There’s one huge, obvious exception of course—his music career. I believe his passion for music and talents are such a drive in his life and so much a part of him that his career and his success are way more powerful than any influence others might have on him. Time will tell.)
His neck suggests it’s much easier for him to do what others want instead of doing what he believes and desires. That means that who he surrounds himself with will determine a great deal about what he does and how his life proceeds.
His full lips tell us he loves attention and appreciation. He needs it, almost like a drug. On top of that, he’s also willing to do a great deal—even outlandish things—just to get the attention he needs.
His upper lip indicates he has a high threshold for physical and emotional pain and discomfort. So it may take him some time and a great deal more discomfort before he hurts enough to want to change his behavior.
He doesn’t see things going downhill either. He’s an optimist so he is thinking everything is going to work out just fine for him. In fact, he’s quoted as saying he likes the man he’s becoming. Really!? That’s a true optimist.
The shape of his ears tells us that he also has a need to try things, to experiment, often just to see how the experience will work out.
Look at his rounded eyes. When we see this we know that the person tends to be adventurous…he wants to try things purely to see what will happen, what the experience will be like.
Lots of people have this combination of traits, especially at such a young age. So by themselves these traits don’t point to anything concrete, either positive or negative.
Also, Justin Bieber’s personality will likely change as he gets older. (I believe our personalities are always evolving.) But how it will change is, at least in part, determined by his actions now and his experiences and what he comes to believe about himself and life.
All that said, since he has these specific traits I’ve highlighted above, I’d say Justin Bieber is nearing a crossroads in his life. He’s going to have to make some decisions about who he wants to be. It wouldn’t hurt him to start by becoming friends with people he can count on to guide him in the right directions.
