About Bill's Book, In Your Face

In 2001, Bill Cordingley achieved one of his lifetime goals, to publish a book (entitled IN YOUR FACE: What Facial Features Reveal About the People You Know and Love; New Horizon Press) that introduced the world to a powerful relationships tool, through a new “face reading” technique. He initially learned to read faces in 1972, one year after graduating from Harvard. It took the next 30 years of study, experimentation, and dogged perseverance to see his knowledge in print.

IN YOUR FACE explains the significance of 12 of the most important facial features. It shows how they reveal key personality traits and provides the “face reader” with clues that lead to greater understanding of the individual, and a healthier and more satisfying relationship with the person.

Clearly written and illustrated, with almost 50 quality illustrations and photographs, IN YOUR FACE communicates the fun and the many benefits of "reading" faces. While it is written for a general audience, virtually every technique and insight we can gain from the face is applicable in every aspect of our lives – not just our personal lives but in our jobs and careers  as well. Anywhere we meet people and value establishing a short- or long-term relationship, this technique can be used to significant value.

Readers learn the many benefits face reading provides...How this totally new method was developed...What makes it so useful in today’s world...how to tap into a dozen facial features and discover dozens more useful insights into people's needs, drives, talents, abilities, likes, dislikes, and  behaviors. For example, among other things, readers learn how to identify people who ...

  •  have dominant personalities

  •  manage well

  •  are determined or stubborn, and who’s flexible

  •  tend to be others-oriented

  •  are just looking out for "Number One"

  •  need to totally commit themselves to their job or projects

  •  excel at listening and who wants to express their own ideas

Importantly, IN YOUR FACE also explores why face reading “works,” including its scientific basis, as explained by a physician and long-time student of face reading.
