Meet Ellen Degeneres

** (Click here to listen to a brief analysis) **

Ellen Degeneres has been one of my favorite performers for many years. There is just something about the sweetness of her personality that I like, and it shines through in the features of her face.

Take her mouth, for example. It's large. When she smiles you can see how wide it is. When I see a mouth like this, I know right away the person is very generous and also probably has a need to overdo things. Combine that with the roundness of her eyelids, and I know Ellen Degeneres is about as selfless as one can get, especially when it comes to helping others in need.

Next, notice how her nose points down. That is one of several signs that she is a procrastinator. She puts off doing things as long as she can.

In her case, I can also tell she loves and needs repetition. She has no problem hearing the same thing--or saying the same thing--over and over again. In fact, if I were talking to her and really wanting to make a point, I would plan on repeating myself.

She often hides them, but if you can get a glimpse of her ears, you will see they stick out more than most people's. You'd be surprised how many actors have this in common. Why? Because this trait belongs to people who enjoy (and are naturally very comfortable with) standing or performing in front of others people. I am told--at least in Hollywood--that pulling the ears back is a very popular cosmetic surgery.

Want to know more? In a nutshell...Ellen would make a wonderful friend...She is an excellent listener...She doesn't try to shove her point of view down others' throats (in fact, she is likely to give in to others too easily)...She is generous to a fault, willing to give the shirt off her back...She is compassionate and caring...She is very intelligent...She is also a perfectionist, always beating herself up...She is open-minded and willing to try out new things, new viewpoints and ideas.

This is only the beginning of what you can see when you learn to read faces. I literally could talk for an hour on just about anyone, pointing out dozens upon dozens of  interesting traits--abilities, drives, needs, behavior, and more.
